Training Colleges

There are 21 Training College (4 Govt. and 17 Private College) The Institution under the public sector are under the direct Administrative Control of the Department.
Music Colleges

The three prestigious Government Music Colleges in the State are already upgraded and affiliated to the Universities offering Degree and PG courses.

The Chembai Memorial Govt. Music college is affiliated to the University of Calicut offering B.A Degree course in Vocal Music, Veena, Violin and Mridangam and Post Graduate M.A. Vocal Music.

The R.L.V.College of Music and Fine Arts,Tripunithura is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University,Kottayam offering B.A. and M.A. Degree courses in Vocal Music, Veena,Violin, Mridangam, Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattom,Kathakali Vesham and Kathkali Sangeetham. Under the faculty of Visual Arts  BFA and MFA courses in Painting, Sculpture and Applied Art are conducted.

Sri Swathi Thirunal Government College of Music at Thiruvananthapuram is affiliated to the University of Kerala and offers three year B.P.A.( Bachelor of Performing Arts ) degree course and two year M.P.A. (Master of Performing Arts) course in Vocal, Veena,Violin,Mridangam and Dance.

 
Physical Education Colleges

Two years higher certificate course in physical Education is offered in the Physical Education College, Kozhikode.
